but for now, i have found that the CT does a pretty darn good job. With that said eventually i will want to delve into the CT more to see where to edit variables to be more accurate when i feel i have found something to be off ENOUGH to warrant doing so. none of these apps and charts can replace your instinctive game playing experience and judgment but they sure can speed up the math and make things easier. comes down to more of an art than a science. i have tested them on several accounts and found that it is difficult to really know which is the most accurate. I have tested every app available every online chart available and i have found every one of them not to be the same when it comes to standard wind/ring adjustment values. So now that i am not using the GCN app i need to do that in my head ![]() If it is a diagonal wind then it is a 1.2 rings worth of difference Wind direction certainly affects the number of rings needed to compensate.Įxample (rings worth of adjustment according to GCN)ġ00% accurate level one sniper with a white ball with 10mph winds What i do to compensate for the wind direction and elevation is to guessĮlevation has been pretty straight forward there is online documentation to do that So once i realized how accurate (minus the missing elements i just mentioned) the "Wind Ring Calc" feature in the CT was i have STOPPED USING GCN app altogether. both elevation and wind direction DO affect the wind/ring adjustment by what looks to be as much as 5-35% depending on wind speed direction and how great the elevation and how far ball is going to travel etc. The GCN helped a lot and when they added the wind direction it sure made things more accurate so although i think it would be crazy difficult to find the ever-changing value in the game it would be nice if it COULD be found to include it in the formula to predict wind/ring adjustment more accuratelyĪs well as with elevation. Well i dont consider the GCN (golf clash notebook) to be sacred With Notebook charts you can change the power of the ball used, its the same website that made you're sacred app. That's basic wind rings, only experience can judge elevation, i'm old skool and still sticking to my wind charts. as in Golf Clash Notebook it now allows you to set the wind direction and then input the wind speed and the app gives you the rings to adjust but if you change the arrow direction then the numbers change a little by as much as a whole ring or more in some cases. it could be a formula issue and or the fact of which direction the wind is blowing. Now i have noticed that when shooting max over power at high winds that sometimes when it says say 9.8 rings that the ball lands 1-2 rings off. This has SAVED my game and i am So VERY thankful to LION for explaining it When it is your turn you will see the values for the WindRings change dynamically as you move the ball around. To see how the ratio changes dynamically turn on the Wind Ring Calc feature also the rough and sand clubs are different if it wont travel as far then it wont be so many rings. So treat like a sniper at 100% YES many shots will be 1/1 ratio thus 12 mph = 12 rings HOWEVER this isnt really the case because it depends on how far your ball is to travel. So let's say the CT says 10 ring adjustment and your club has a max accuracy of 80%(with full accuracy on) so it's a 8 ring adjustment, correct?įA (full accuracy) turns ALL clubs into 100% accuracy ![]() elevation (-/+ %) of current ball position to the target landing zone. ![]() It would be nice for the CT to be able to automatically detect the following and computer the more accurate wind/ring adjustment needed I'm thinking it doesn't but i cannot tell yet ☐ WindRings 06C0015B Float 1.38937145 ☐ RealWind 06BF0065 Float 1.54454208so now it makes sense thank you - now i trying to figure out how accurate the numbers areĭo you know if they take into account the wind directions as the new golf clash notebook app does? now i see it is in the CT the values for each I was looking in the game for something to show up on the screen. Ok thank you so much i am going to try this as you describedĪmazing i understand now how the windcalc thing works thank you so much The second is just here for information to give you real wind valueĪnd that change nothing if you select any sub features as in all featuresĮxcept for master debug that force hack value "on" even on opponent turn (to see is long line for exemple (opponent doesn't see it just u)) The first one give you the amount of ring to move calculate with aim distance and wind(this is only working with full accuracy, math is done with 100% accuracy ring)
